Will Zombie Senate Republicans Confirm Racist for Attorney General?

President Obama nominated another myopic lawyer that only sees human beings through the lens of the color of their skin to the post of Attorney General. Loretta Lynch, U.S. Attorney for Eastern District of New York is the female version of Eric Holder and the spitting image in ideology of Michelle Obama.

In this video from last January while teaching a group at the MLK Center in Long Beach, New York, Lynch plays the broken record of racism. She stresses that the Department of Justice roots out inequality in voting and education as top priorities. Really? Looks like the DOJ has become the legal arm of the NAACP.

Partial transcript:

“…we stand in this country and people trying to take over the state house and reverse the goals that have been made in voting in this country but I’m proud to tell you that the Department of Justice has looked at these laws and looked at what’s happening in the deep south, and in my home state of North Carolina has brought lawsuits against those voting rights changes that seek to limit our ability to stand up and exercise our rights as citizens and those lawsuits will continue.

But more than that we have to fight for the dreams that are continuing not only in the courts, but in our schools. Now we all understand education is the key, discipline is important, we understand that rules are important. But we also know that when we sit and look at schools that have zero tolerance programs, they are often used and they take our babies, minority children, black children, Hispanic children and they put them out of school before they have a chance to learn.

The Department of Justice this past year has gone into the south, and looking further, and brought the first prison, school-to-prison pipeline cases against school districts in Alabama.”
