‘Conservative’ Media Sisters Play the Female Victim Card to Derail Trump

Heathers16  “conservative” females have penned an open letter demanding Donald Trump fire his campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, for the alleged battery of reporter Michelle Fields. A quick glance at the names on the list and their colluding employers leaves little doubt about the real target of the women’s collective outrage.

The Letter:

The press is to have an adversarial, yet civil approach to those in, or running, for elected office. Never in this line of work is it acceptable to respond to reasonable and legitimate questioning with use of physical force. The photographs, audio, videos, and witness accounts documenting the treatment of Michelle Fields by Corey Lewandowski, Donald Trump’s campaign manager, are inexcusable and unprofessional. Donald Trump should immediately remove Lewandowski from his campaign. However unlike the Trump campaign, we believe in making a statement on the record to clearly highlight the difference between right and wrong.

Signed.

Dana Loesch (Radio America, Blaze TV)
Katie Pavlich, (Townhall, Fox News)
Meghan McCain, (America Now Radio, Cosmopolitan, Fox News)
S.E. Cupp, ( New York Daily News, Glamour, CNN)
Mary Katharine Ham, (CNN, The Federalist)
Christine Rosen, (New Atlantis, Commentary)
Christina Hoff Sommers, (American Enterprise Institute)
Bethany Mandel, (The Federalist, Acculturated)
Emily Zanotti, (American Spectator)
Elisha Krauss, (Ben Shapiro’s radio co-host)
Karol Markowicz, (New York Post)
Kristen Soltis Anderson, (Washington Examiner)
Mona Charen, (Ethics and Public Policy Center, Creators Syndicate)
Sarah Rumpf, (freelance)
Brooke Rogers, (National Review)
Mary Chastain, (Breitbart)

That these female media personalities have written such an embarrassing letter to Trump is astonishing.   If the signatories feel this minor incident with Fields is offensive, the ones who claim to be journalists should leave the profession, while academic stalwarts like Christina Hoff Sommers should pronounce feminism dead, once and for all. Adding her name to this politically inspired ploy to take down a Presidential candidate undermines Sommers’ decades-long career as a fighter against “gender-based feminism.”

This sisterhood of delicate flowers has not only suggested female reporters are inferior to their male counterparts, as men get roughed up in the field more than women, (see video), they have used the gender card to put themselves in a protected class. How leftist of them.

Fields crossed the line. She didn’t follow protocol and came dangerously close to a Secret Service protected presidential candidate, but she has a vagina so she’s the victim?

Fields and her feminist posse, led by Meghan McCain, Dana Loesch, Katie Pavlich, and S E Cupp have now made it so other female reporters may not be allowed within earshot of a candidate. Why should any public person or their security detail take a chance with a female reporter if it becomes ‘either you give me an interview or I’ll ruin your career?’

Moreover, the woman the media members are defending, Michelle Fields,  is an “actress” according to an IMDB  bio, and has a history of claiming she was assaulted by individuals ranging from former Congressman Allen West to NYPD police officers to Robert Kennedy, Jr. Fields once complained Kennedy got “handsy with her.”

Besides shooting themselves and their sister reporters in the foot, the letter reads as if it was written during happy hour. How are “photographs, audio, videos, and witness accounts” of the interaction between Fields and Lewandowski “inexcusable and unprofessional?”

I can only hope the trend continues. The most satisfying part of this election cycle is that the mask has finally been ripped off a  number of high-profile female pundits on the right; showing them to be little more than a clique of shrill, attention-seeking, groupthink Heathers.

About M. Catharine Evans

Brother and sister Hans and Sophie Schell, co-founder and member of White Rose, an underground student anti-Nazi group, printed flyers and pamphlets denouncing Hitler and his regime. They were arrested February 18, 1943. Both were beheaded February 22, 1943. In Sophie's cell, a guard recovered a little scrap of paper with the word "Freedom" written on it. Before he died, her brother Hans urged good people "to stand defiant before overwhelming power." And to his brother he wrote, "Remain strong--no compromises." As our representatives in the press and in DC on all sides--Republican, Independent, Democrat, Libertarian, right and left wing--cower and compromise before the evil Obama regime, real patriots speak out everywhere.

Here’s some male journalists from Australia being roughed up. You try and guess who’s who….

    “Adversarial role”???
THIS is what YOU people call journalism. In other words it’s not facts that are to be determined but ONLY a “role” you are playing.
All those on this list have shown they are NOT fit to be “journalists”.
If all these signers would actually LOOK for the facts you would find from the numerous videos, of many different angles, that what Michelle “claims” did NOT happen. The frame jumping video from Trump doesn’t effectively show the scene.
Clearly these people, and many pundits, have shown there is little difference between them and the worthless liberals they have condemned in the past. There are just as despicable. As a result I don’t want to be “labeled” a conservative. It has become an embarrassment to be called, as such, by such unprincipled players.

Just found your website. Love it. Hope you post more.

I wrote a reply to them at the time they originally released their “demand”. Having been assaulted, I know the diff and their pure political poison raised my blood pressure. Gah!
